Which media streamer do i buy?

Hi i want to steam media wireless from my PC & laptop ( just going to buy new one maybe a Sony Vaio Laptop, VGN-FW51MF/H) to my TV (Loewe concept 32) in my lounge, I am also going to need new sound equipment?
My media comes into the house behind my TV. Virgin+ and broad band connected to a Belkin wireless router. Budget £1500
Any suggestions?

I'd like mainly to stream music, however I'd presumed that i would be able to stream pictures & video? I've looked at the new Popcorn Hour C-200 & D-Link Media Lounge DIM-520.
I figured that if i buy a Vaio laptop from the FW range that gives me a blue ray player.
Then i need to buy a sound system, I'd presumed that i could buy separates?
Total budget £2k

You can stick a PC Blu-ray drive in a Popcornhour C-200 and it will play Blu-ray discs no need to buy a laptop just for Blu-ray.

The PCH C-200 will do media playing duties for music/video however keep in mind wireless does not have the speed to generally handle HD videos.
