hi, just gettin my head around this......i wanna buy something that will do what an xbox will do with streaming media files from a pc to my lcd tv and sound system.

ideally it will have an hdmi connection, stream files from more than 2 pcs and fit in too my tv cupboard so she does'nt moan too much, any ideas???

Asus O!play, about £80, silent, regular updates from Asus. You can get other cheaper media players like the 'Hisense media player' which is based on the same realtek chip as the Asus. I can't comment on what they will be like for updates. Various others all based on the realtek chip about, Scan sell alot of them.
