Disapointed with Sky Sports & Setanta

Ive owned both now for about 3 weeks and extremely disappointed with the coverage of football on them.

Fof example only able to watch Man Utd at 12:45. None of the 3pm football is shown on any of the other channels

Why is nothing really shown?

Re: Disapointed with Sky Sports & Setanta

They arn't allowed to show Saturday 3pm games live, to try and get people to actually goto games at this time (not just in the top divisions, but also lower league, where attendances are affected greatly if there's a game on tv at the same time)

Slightly off topic but I wish Sky would screen more premiership rugby.

Did u buy setanta just for football ? If so it's not worth it. If u like other sports i think it's worth having. IPL at the moment, ufc, golf channel, the odd boxing and my fav lfctv.

Mainly yes. To be honest i thought the only problem i was going to have was to decided what match to watch, but its the opposite.

As an "assured advertiser" I don't think that you should be asking that question on these forums.

Good news the new contract from 2010-11 season will see 69 games live up from 33 currently.

Bad news (unless you subscribe to both) 43 will be on Setanta* including the final with only 26 on SKY...

Having both means I won't miss out except of course (currently) no HD on Setanta.

*assuming of course Setanta are still around.

tbh is this not the sort of thing you would look at before buying it.

I would rather pay my sky and setanta bill than my mortgage
