The heavyweight division is a total waste at the moment, no fighter around worthy of any belts in my view, not in comparison to what the division used to be anyways.
The fights are becoming too dull, too many fighters relying on their powerful punches alongside height and reach advantage rather than boxing skills, i've not seen a good heavyweight fight for a while, it's always a grabfest.

Calzaghe would be silly to come out of retirement, he's got a brilliant record and no reason to end it, not unless it's a huge money fight - not Froch, and let's face it, Calzaghe in his day was twice the boxer Froch is. Why blemish a record like his with a fight you're not wanting/needing.
But I agree it's a shame it wont happen, but i'm glad it wont at the same time, I'm a big fan of Calzaghe and would hate to see him do what so many boxers do when they come out of retirement.
Speaking of coming out of retirement there's rumours that Tito Trinidad is thinking about a $15m fight with Hopkins... not sure how true this is but it's been heavily talked about on some boxing forums I frequent.
But the thread has strayed off topic, this is the Pac vs Hatton thread so i'll let it take its original course again
