Shocking stuff - you don't actually get to see him punch another player as well in the video.

Yes the player dived and it was never a penalty but still what a terrible reaction by Pepe - can you imagine if that happened in the premiership!

What a shocking penalty when it all settled down mind u!!

Real Madrid defender Pepe faced a lengthy suspension after the referee detailed the Portugal international’s aggression on Tuesday toward two Getafe players and the fourth official in his match report.

With the scores level at 2-2 and three minutes left in the Primera Liga clash at the Bernabeu, Pepe pushed Getafe’s Francisco Casquero and the referee awarded a penalty.

Pepe then kicked Casquero on the ground and a second swipe saw him rake his studs over the midfielder’s back. In the ensuing melee he struck another Getafe player, Juan Albin, in the face.

he stamped on him 3 or 4 times when he was down as well. mental but made me laugh, was surprised none of the plyers from the other team hit him back. could you imagine if big dunc or keano were involved in an incident like that, pepe would have been knocked out!!

I actually thought it was a penalty when first saw it i thought he had accidentally carried on and his momentum caught him after seeing it again on sky sports they should throw the book at him and yes terrible pen

They should kick him out of football for this.
They should kick the diver out of football for cheating.

If someone dived like that in front of me, I'd be tempted to kick him too to give him something to really moan about. Maybe that's the rugby in me...

I'm not excusing him, and he will get the ban he deserves but the diving is a joke that really could be stamped out of football if FIFA wanted to. Diving and referee harrassment are the things I hate about football the most. Still watch it whenever I can though.

pathetic dive, i hate divers but i guess kicking them, etc isnt going to do anything!

brilliant penalty though... NOT. has anyone ever seen Totti's penalty? was pretty much the same.

I'd say pepe definitely pushed him, so was definitely a penalty. The getafe player felt the contact and went down but many other players would too. Shocking behaviour by pepe though and he should be banned for the rest of the season.

Worst penalty I've seen in ages though!
