Is there going to be live baseball on channel 5 on Sundays this season?

No, Channel 5 are stopping all their late night sports after the current seasons run out - so they're not starting 2009 baseball.

A lot of people subscribe to MLBs on-line service which seems decent value for money.

Theyve canned all their US sport coverage to save money. Which is a shame as the baseball coverage was great and their NFL show was better than sky ( no in game adverts )

That's a bit of a bummer! At least I won't stagger into work on a Monday morning like a zombie after staying up to watch the live games

MLB on-line games are $75/year - not bad as it covers all the games! - or $109.95 for the HD version with a few other features like multigame viewing!

Read some dedicated UK baseball forums first though before you sign up to anything - I remember reading that the multi screen thing was a bit of a fiasco, the screen quality was poor and load times very big.

But yes, in general, it does seem like a very good package, and there are definitely loads of UK subscribers, so it all is proven to work OK.
