Tbh i thought Brown was talking off the top of his head in order to hit back - i'm sure something happened though.
Saying Wenger got his goalkeeper booked and calling that a discgrace was ludicrous imo considering you had the best part of a 60,000 man crowd yelling and whistling when Hull were time wasting. It wasn't Wenger's pressure but that of the crowd that was more likely to sway Riley.
The whole spitting fiasco was made to appear worse than it was. Brown made it sound as if he'd spat in his face - only later does it become apparent it was towards his feet. How close do you need to spit in someone's direction before it becomes "at them"?
To say that Arsenal nicked it was like he was watching a different game to me.
I expect managers to give a one sided version of events but there was clearly bad blood on both sides of this affair.
