Running music

Hey,

Just wondering what music some of you listen to to motivate you when running, also does anyone have any good HIIT music?

Thanks

Re: Running music

My running tracks consist mainly of upbeat tracks like:-

Faithless
Prodigy
Jurrassic 5

I even have the Rocky IV soundtrack which is hugely motivating

Sometimes listen to some Foo Fighters as well, really depends on my mood.

Re: Running music

For general running i'll do something like:
Bjork
Boards of Canada
The Flashbulb

Quite mellow stuff..

But when doing HIIT i'll go for something a bit harder and faster, drum and bass or breakcore:
Venetian Snares
Nightwalker
High Contrast

I always find it makes me push a bit harder if the music is faster and heavier

Re: Running music

Anything with a high tempo, usually punk or heavy metal for me.

Can't stand all that chavvy house music.

Re: Running music

Lol I too have a few songs from Rocky

I agree though, I try to put on some fast music for when I want to pick up the pace, something like Basshunter does it

Don't take this the wrong way, but I also find...angry kinda music motivating, for example Eminem 8 mile etc
Try to imagine myself getting ready for a fight or something, tend to find that I run better when I'm angry lmao
