Parking For Manchester United Games

How do everyone

After not thinking I would ive managed to get myself 2 tickets for Uniteds game against Liverpool on saturday. Wheres the best place to park as normally when i go i just get the train and metro to old trafford. But my girlfriend got the tickets for me and part of the deal is she has to come and she doesnt like trains.

So where is the best place to park. I'll be in Manchester from 10 am. Ive been told that Lancashire Cricket Club is a good place to park and the Burleigh Road area?

I have always used dthe Cricket Club . Try to get there early and park near the exits . I usually try to get as close to B&Q as possible

Actually, What stand are you in ? The Cricket Club is good parking if you are in the East or South Stands , otherwise there will be an awful lot of fans ahead of you

Re: Parking For Manchester United Games

You could do what 90% of man u fans do,and park at a London train station car park, and get the train to manchester

Im not 100% where we are as she has acquired 2 season tickets for the day and she hasnt got them yet.

Think im just going to go to the cricket club, i mean how long can it take for 79000 people to leave?

Its not the 79000 fans its the cars from the carpark, that really does make a difference . For the Hull match I was parked right next to the boundry , took me and hour to get out of the carpark . Against Chelsea I was parked right next to the B&Q exit and I was drinking cold Stella by 2130 and I don't leave until the final whistle blows

Pretty pointless parking in London when he is coming from Darlington . I can remember a thread where I was getting a lecture from a Liverpool fan who lived in Nottingham

Re: Parking For Manchester United Games

And before anyone starts I'm a darlington fan as well and I am supporting my club now they are in administration. Let's face it tho I'll choose united over them whrn it comes to going and watching. Especially when the united tickets are free

Re: Parking For Manchester United Games

Parking in certain areas dictates you direction away from the ground as well so depending on how close you get to the stadium will result in which direction you travel away from.

Inside the box means you have to travel in that direction due to road blocks

I park behind a Audi Garage just which is the entrance is in the middle of Chester Street
