Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

Hey all, Im new to this forum and this is my first thread and post so please do not be harsh if i have not followed the rules.

Anyway, Back to the topic.

As you all know or should know is that Manchester United are playing tonight against Jose's Inter Milan. Man.utd have some injury worries whereas Inter do not except one. Do you think this will affect Uniteds performance or not?
My Opinion is that it will affect in a way but man.utd will cope.I dont think they will give a great performance considering the injuries and suspension. However, i think we will get an away goal and hopefully win.

Watch Man.utd Vs Inter Milan Live on ITV1

Thanks, AvkidMaster.

Cool Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

Bit worried about the defence, but it seems that Evans and JOS should be ok for tonight. A draw would be a good rsult tonight, probably 1-1 unless we're forced to use Berbatov at centre half !!!

Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

the defence is definitely the main worry, but with van der sar organising them instead of Kuszcak failing to, they should be a lot more solid than they were against Blackburn regardless of who's playing there. If Evans is out then i expect O'Shea to fill in at CB, if he's out as well we are really clutching at straws - fletcher could probably play there but it's hardly ideal against opposition of Inter's calibre.

I don't want to see Evra drafted in at CB as he isn't very good at man marking and wouldn't be able to hold off Adriano or Ibrahimovic

It will come down to how well the defence are protected by the midfield so i wouldn't be surprised to see fletcher, carrick, park and rooney as the midfield quartet with ronaldo playing off berbatov

In attack we definitely have enough to worry them, so it may be another "we're going to outscore you" scenario like we had a few times last season when we had major injury problems at the back.

I'm going to go with 2-1 to United - probably 1-1 is more likely but i'm an optimist!

keep forgetting to mention that all week i've had this feeling that our injury problems aren't as bad as they're being made out to be - and wouldn't be surprised to see Neville or Brown in the team despite having been ruled out - possible mind games from Fergie to lull milan's fragile ego'd strikeforce into a false sense of security?

Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

United should of won that in the first half. Fergie brought on rooney too late and should of put scholes on mid way through 2nd half, as we were being dominated in the 2nd half. All in all disappointed from my view about the result

Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

I said 0-0 at the start but the 0-0 they got the the 0-0 i thought were very different.

I thought a scoreless draw would be a good result but it's been bad and they could live to regret it after some of the chances they had. Giggs and Berbatov getting in behind in particular both with poor choices or final balls.

It's still a decent result as Inter didn't look too threatening but they could have finished the tie tonight.

Roll on the Liverpool game tomorrow, the one i've looked forward to most out off all the ties. Going with 2-0 Real Madrid though with Raul being the linch pin and thorn in their side.

Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

Think it was a fair result tho Utd should have wrapped it up by half time. Fergie should have brought Scholes and Rooney on earlier as towards the last part of the second half we had run out of ideas.

Return leg will be intriguing.

Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

United played well and should have been 2 up by half time. Inter played better in the second half (hard to play much worse) but still didn't cause the Utd defence many problems.

I think Utd should win at Old Trafford quite comfortably.

and Mourinho thinks Ibrahimovic is one of the best footballers in the world what planet does Jose live on

Agree with you there Delvey Mar is correct lol. I know Mourinho thinks all his players are best in the world Clearly Not, Liverpool fans also think Torres is best in the world, when he is not. Do not get me wrong, Torres is an excellent player but i think people Overrate him. Just my Opinion, Criticize me if you want as i take criticism as a disguised compliment :P.

0-0 is not a bad result, However i think utd should have decided it at the San Siro looking at the Chances we had. I Could not believe Giggs Didn't. Ronaldo played excellent was just could not finish it. I believe fergusons playing Mind games with Mourinho which is excellent. COMMON Fergie!! Rooney came on abit too late and scholes should of come on mid way through Second Half.

Looking Forward to Liverpool Game ( Our Competition)

Hope they lose.

Regards, AVKIDMASTER

P.S Thanks the Second poster (Sorry forgot name) for the Welcome.

9 points clear in Serie A . I would have been happy with a draw. Having seen the game , I am gutted we didn't finish them off
If they are the best Serie A have to offer at the moment

Re: Manchester United Vs Inter Milan (Tonight)- Your Views

Utd should have had a couple of goals in the first half. I don't believe Italian Club sides have the quality they once had. I fancy Utd to win the 2nd leg by a couple of goals.

I think Mourinho's comment's about Ibrahimovic are to try to get a performance out of him. Ibrahimovic can go from the sublime to the ridiculous in the space of a few minutes never mind a few games.

Everytime I see the "comparethemeerkat" animal on the ad, it put's me in mind of Jose for some reason.

the clean sheet is only important if it's a score draw. So far this season at Old Trafford, United have drawn once and won all the other games, so i think we'll be too much for them.
