Itv at it again

Cant believe itv putting on an advert at the same time everton score. They say it was a technical mistake but they always seem to do it.The second the programme went off they scored! you couldn't make it up

Re: Itv at it again

Yep, anyone that sat through the whole 2 hours only to miss the one goal of the match must be pretty annoyed!

Reminds me of the terribly timed advert breaks during their F1 broadcasts, thankfully that wont be a problem this year!

Re: Itv at it again

Mine went off before the goal, came back on about 10 secs before it was scored.

Re: Itv at it again

Tried to get tickets but no chance so had to watch on ITV, poor show from them.
I did like the problem after, stuck on the ITV logo it said we will be back with the 10 o'clock news shortly. This was at 22.56

Ahh well, the blue boys won and the bin dippers are out so can't complain too much

In the words of rafa:
"One team trying to win and one team trying not to lose"

Became quite apt tonight.

Re: Itv at it again

I used more colourful language in the liverpool social group

I guess they were as bored as the rest of us but ITV should never be allowed sport rights again. Even sultana and Five are better

Anyone know for sure if this was deliberate or a technical error?

I asked the same thing on the Liverpool group. Apparently it's something to do with people from Kirby (Everton fans) being known as sock robbers.

Re: Itv at it again

I wonder why my broadcast didn't miss the goal when everyone else seems to have.
