Olympic Tennis This Morning...

Watching Andy Murray represent Great Britan versus someone no one has ever heard of.

It is actually pathetic - he seems to not want to even be there, he's not attempting to return certain shots, appauling body language which is more commonly seen on a grumpy teenager - overall just an awful display!!

I'm actually finding myself looking forward to the commentators making the excuses for him that he's got a stomach bug, an injury from 5 years ago cropping up again or that he's heard some bad news about his favourite kids program being cancelled.

I'm not a huge sport fan, and sometimes I feel bad for that, but it's no wonder really when I do take a bit of time out to watch it and see this kind of behaviour - it is no wonder Great Britain gets laughed at by the other countries, we seem to just have a good way of fobbing people off with excuses.

The icing on the cake was when the commentators were getting that excited about the 4x100m relay in the swimming I did believe we were winning a gold medal - we were actually coming 7th and we'd beaten the British record. A decent achievement, but 7th place..?!

However I am impressed by the Brits who have won gold so far. Just wish the rest of the competitors had a bit more hunger to WIN, not just show up.
