Keane signed for liverpool

WELL HAPPY

Liverpool have completed the signing of striker Robbie Keane from Tottenham for a fee that could rise to £20.3m.

Keane, 28, underwent a medical on Monday after agreeing personal terms on a four-year contract worth around £80,000 a week over the weekend.

Re: Keane signed for liverpool

I really rate robbie keane and think he will be a great asset to the team

he has done well at every club he has played for but i think playing with better players, i.e torres for one, will surely make him better than he already is.

nice to see rafa looking a bit closer to home as well as players with prem experience.

wonder if barry will be next?

Is Torres that much better than Berbatov??

Not happy in the manner Robbie has left us but good luck to him. He'll do well at Liverpool. Hopefully we can spend the money well and bring in a quality replacement.

I doubt you'll be getting Barry now though as there's not much in the pot for Rafa to spend.

I think owen021173 was alluding to the whole squad and provided Torres as an example

Berbatov's is over rated IMO...Torres is a class act and his attitude is a far cry from Berbatov's!

so keane's not priceless to spurs fans?, i know alot that did not want to lose him at any price.

£19m is nothing, when we have 2 rich americans with loadsamoney

rather 19m for keano, than 32m for tevez.

Everbody is replaceable.

19M for a player at 28 years old is a great deal.

Don't quite pop the cork. A potential extra £1.3m in bonus fees

Just on the point of a "recession in football" looming, I point out Liverpool have had to sell this summer

Good signing, i rate keane but that price is too high it really is!

These transfers are becoming a joke with some of these deals! Id say hes worth about 12 mil IMO!

and Barry worth 18 million (not) ,its just the way of the market, if you want a player and he's under contract then you pay more.

spurs want 28 million for Berbatov ,is he worth that ,only because he's got a long contract at spurs and utd want him.

Neil.....
