Thanks: Gave 206, Got 407 | Paul Ince - future England manager?
Seeing as how he did very well at MK dons and is now the new Blackburn manager, depending on how he does over the next 2 seasons, could he be the next in line for the England job?

Plenty of managers have done well and gone onto do well with premier teams so i can't see your point? Do you mean he could be the first black England manager? As thick as the FA are I'd like to think they would never pick a manager on the colour of a persons skin.
Lets see how he does at Blackburn shall we? He may well be out of a job in 12 months.

He had quite a bit of money at MK to work with compared to the other sides in the league, so will see how he gets on at Blackburn first before even considering him as a future England manager
Pearce has a better chance I think

Pearce has a better chance I think | It gets worse, he done wonders at Citeh didn't he?
He took over an excellent England U21 team from Taylor, something that shouldn't of happened either. Might as well give it back to Mclaren.

Then onto MK Dons who like Sickie says gave him money to spend. He won the league there and won them there first major trophy at Wembley.
Now if clubs keep taking on the likes of Mclaren and BSam when will the like of Ince and Gary Johnson (Bristol city) ever be given a chance to prove themselves?

Blackburn and maybe the likes of Fulham are the only two i'd think would look in lower league instead of a named manager. Fair play to them as well mate. Quote: |

| Who else then mate? Big Sam and Mclaren? Who else would you add?

Jeff, Big Sam did miracles at Bolton on a small budget. He turned them from relegation fodder to finishing in the top ten and qualified for European football for the first time in their history.
Somebody's bound to mention the style of football but whatever you say, he can only be thought of as a miracle worker at Bolton.
In terms of the Blackburn job, I'm quite pleased they went for Ince as opposed to someone like McLaren Ince has done well at the two clubs he's been at and as for doing it at Premiership level, has any other player done as well as him over the years? I know that's not the same as being a manager but he's in good company with Mark Hughes, Steve Bruce and Roy Keane!!
He'll get good receptions at most grounds ... except West Ham and City!

| Steve i know what he did at Bolton (football was shocking, but some club won the league using the same style) , but when he went onto a so called Big club he was completely out of his depth . Never really rated him as a manger myself.
