Re: Mayweather Retires!!!

He did the same after he beat de la hoya and then came out of "retirement" to face hatton so i would be surprised if he keeps to his word!

I dont blame him tho if it is for real! Theres no one else for him to face!

Cotto! That would be a huge fight. Anyway he's probley the best boxer I've seen in my time of watching boxing, absolute quality.. fair play to the lad.

Yeh cotto is probably the only one that could give him a fight!
Im sorry to see him go to be honest! Yeh hes brash, arrogant, cocky etc but you need characters like that in boxing and to be honest hes the best boxer ive seen in the past 20 years!

Re: Mayweather Retires!!!

Floyd Mayweather has announced his retirement from the ring, citing a lack of desire as one of the main reasons behind his decision.

Considered the current best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Pretty Boy hangs up his gloves with a perfect 39-0 record as a professional.
The American's last bout saw him retain his WBC welterweight crown with a 10th-round stoppage of Britain's Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas.
He was next scheduled to face Oscar De La Hoya for a second time after winning the first fight between the pair by split decision back in May 2007.

Bad boy boxer he is would have liked too have seen him up against cotto
but if cotto goes on and on i think he could bring Floyd money out of retirement for that big fight
