I feel sorry for this guy, watched him a while back in an interview on Sky Sports News and nothing was really bad or partucularly his own fault out of all the things he has done.
However because of his previous history their will sadly be other idiots who will target him based on that

ok, I suppose he is innocent until proven guilty, but - come on'. Does this guy have no sense at all ?? 5 in the morning - pro footballer, who is playing for one of the biggest clubs in the land, and a supposed role model for millions of youngsters.
Sad really, but particularly galling for supporters of Newcastle United (who should never have signed him in the first place).

I dont feel sorry for the guy that he has to spend New Year in prison, or the stick he will get from fans or provakation in the street (or Macdonalds!), I feel sorry for anyone who keeps doing he same stupid things and cant see to change the way he acts.
Maybe it is just a part of the wonder of the extremely over rated players world that he cant see but maybe sometime in the real world of prison might make him realise |

I'd give anyone the benefit of the doubt.....once. But when "things" keep happening to somebody, it's bound to be their own fault.
The guy (and many other so called professional footballers) is a complete waste of space, and it's about time the PFA started to take an interest in the behaviour of its members. And NOT just say they have been silly. They should condemn their behaviour. Kick them out of football.
Make him do a proper job.

Make him do a proper job. | This type of bad behaviour should result in suspension from the game.
The Dabo incident, Joey thinks it happens all the time at work (a real job) yeah it does and results in being fired.
Slagging off your team (man city at the time) and saying your the only decent player? Have yourself a huge fine or suspension given by the club.
Pulling a mooney? Have yourself a 2 month suspension given by the PFA/FA
2 footed tackles should be a 5 match ban instead of 3, alot less would do it on purpose.

I have absolutely no sympathy for him. He has had his chance to change and doesn't seem to want to. He has a very privileged life financially and is showing a severe lack of respect to the fans who pay his huge wages.
I am glad that a judge has had the guts to refuse him bail and perhaps a little jail time might do him the power of good. After all, me and you wouldn't get away with this nonsense, so why should he?
Next if we could just get Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty banged up on drugs charges we could open a paper again.
