Suppose we need a thread for the entire tournament
Good start so far, Jaws lost last night, Tripod just had a great game. Keep your eyes peeled for Taylor later tonight, he might just lose this one & the odds are 7/2 for that to happen..
Anyone going this year? I'm going this Saturday..
ps. A little bit more interesting than the Carling Cup match on SS1...

Great match with Taylor last nigth, nowhere near at his best & the kid nearly done him. Never seen Taylor so relieved!

Great match tonight with Klassen and De Voort.
I had tickets to go on Saturday but had to cancel and sold them to the father-in-law.
Typical it now turns out Taylor will be playing then |

Only noticed tonight that this is now held at Ally Pally Only down the road from me so might have to look into getting some tickets, although a little late I guess.

Great atmos there last Saturday, got absolutely hammered in the process.
Magic darts this afternoon, Adrian Lewis lost the 1st 8 legs & came back to lead 3 sets to 2.
3-3 now, going into final set

I'd keep an eye out for someone like James Wade for this year. Taylor and Barney are playing so badly, but if either one of them slips into gear they will take the title

Wade's suffering with flu so he's not at the top of his game either, but agree - wouldn't write him off. So's Barney now. Taylor will improve, he always does & prefers the longer games with more sets.
Kevin Painter could be the dark horse this year, playing very well & wouldn't be surprised if he takes out Barney tonight. He was a whopping 5/2 to beat him earlier, I just called up to stick a tenner on him but he's gone down to 2/1 now.
Lewis has a chance now too, again he likes the longer games.

Any idea what time the Painter match is tonight, missus is trying to hijack the living room and that's a game I can't miss.
Doesn't seem to be any decent schedule list online.

Doesn't seem to be any decent schedule list online. | It'll be pretty much straight after this one, so anywhere between 15mins time to an hour away...

Manley's looking very strong this year too - really open field with the top 3 playing at the same level as the following pack. Best tournament for years.

Unfortunately I can't get the wife out yet so I'm missing that one at the moment.
The published times are always a mile off, the sky presenters sometimes say people are due on at certain times even when it's obvious the current match will go on for a long time.
I fully expect to be up till midnight watching again.
