5 out of 6 British teams into last 16. Fantastic

That's not a bad record. Just a real shame Rangers couldn't make it six

Come on now, you were a big bit lucky on that final round of games.

Really praying for a Madrid v Celtic draw next week. I already have my flights booked for the home leg in March. Celtic would be a great tie as I should be able to get tickets for Parkhead as well

I just might, but not on a public forum

Not sure about that going on last nights display. If they couldn't raise their game for that then I despair for the UEFA Cup matches.

But Lyon are a step up from most of the dross in the UEFA Cup.

Also think Rangers will do well in it.

I think we should do well, but I have seen it before, we crash out of the CL and fall at the first hurdle in the UEFA Cup.

There ares still teams like:

Bayern Munich
Bayer Leverkusen
Villareal
Atletico Madrid
Fiorentina

And some of them could still finish second in their group which means we could get them in the last 32.

But I am going to be positive

Plus other CL drop-outs:

Werder Bremen
PSV
Benfica
Sporting Lisbon.

Some fairly big teams still left in it, although many are just big 'names' in this era, rather than good teams, so many are nothing to be worried about.

Thankfully we can't meet any of them in the next round though.

Bring on the last 16

I think realistically we should be aiming for at least the quarter finals.

Don't forget about Spurs either......looks like they could finish 2nd in the group. There hasn't been a Battle of Britain this year yet but I have a feeling Spurs v Rangers will pop out of the hat.

I can see Celtic getting Real or one of the other big guns - Barca, Inter.
Liverpool won't get Sevilla in a million years - it'll be Milan, Real or Barca.

Obviously Arsenal will get a let-off with Porto, Utd & Chelsea pick up the other 2 easy draws with Fenebahce & Olympiakos
