Thanks: Gave 259, Got 757 | A week of disappointment for England?
What odds on
- England don't win the Rugby World Cup
- Hamilton not winning the F1 Championship
- Russia win in Isreal, effectively putting England out of Euro 2008
After all the eurphoria of England getting to the final, the string of 3-0 wins, and the 12 point lead with 2 races to go, how quickly it can all turn to disappointment.
I guess I am just a pessamist |

It's odds on in the bookies so pretty likely.
South Africa hammered us only 4 weeks ago so I don't see how we're supposed to make that difference up, even with Wilkinson back.
I still believe neither McClaren will win this years title, my money's on Kimi

Really want England to win the rugby.
Don't care about Hamilton-he's not representing England.
Do our footballers really deserve anything more than they've got. They should admit they're not worth the money they get, and arenowhere near as good as they think they are.

I guess I am just a pessamist | You're very pessimistic.
Or perhaps just realistic. |

Well looks like I was right - unfortunately.
Russia to complete the misery by winning in Isreal |

Two out of three right so far.
I'm hoping the third one doesn't come true but probably will.

actually im glad hamilton didnt win it, i feel so sorry for alonso who had to sit back and let hamilton be given preference for the team.
maybe if alonso was given priority then mclaren would have won it.

maybe if alonso was given priority then mclaren would have won it. | alonso's driving was pretty dire in the 2nd half of the season, so i don't think he deserved to be ahead of Hamilton. Shame Mclaren forgot how to team manage for the last 2 races though, Hamilton's tyres the other week, then 3 pit stops yesterday effectively ruined what looked like a sure thing a few weeks ago.. I hope he doesn't end up like Hill and Button though, promising British drivers who faded into obscurity after showing promise..
Apparently Mcclaren are appealing the result now, due to a couple of the cars ahead of Hamilton having fuel irregularities.. smacks of desperation really, reminds me of the Sheff Utd situation..
