Thanks: Gave 481, Got 254 | Bob Woolmer - What A Farce
Well they have finally confirmed that he died of natural causes.
Unless that's just this months prize winning cause of death.
This is the 4th official version
1, Natural causes.
2, Asphyxiation/Strangulation.
3, Strangulation while incapacitated by illegally administered muscle relaxant.
4, Natural causes.
God knows how his family are coping with the cruel absurdity of this situation.

Yep
A simple "no comment due to the ongoing investigation" would have done. Even the parasitic press can be controlled

Just shocking how this case has been handled.
Many people investigated and probably questioned in depth as if they were murderers.
Panorama programme stating that Bob was probably poisoned then strangled.
Now he died of natural causes.
Police work at its best. |

It was the classic case of a rush to judgment. I'm not surprised it was a balls-up. The Jamaican police (and indeed the Caribbean as a whole), are small-time and really aren't geared up to deal with a major international case like this one. Ultimately then, they had to accept help from more experienced and better equipped police forces (NSY). Before anyone gets on my case over what I've said, I do have a bit of an insight into the policing in Jamaica.
The Cricket World Cup spotlight was on and they felt under pressure to come up with answers straight away, and got it wrong... big time. Resulting in unnecessary distress to Bob Woolmers' loved ones.
