We are in Technoparc, so just down the road

Taking our mountain bikes in the support van this year.
Should be entertaining after a case or two of Kantenbrau

Wanted to take bikes but ran out of time to get a rack.

Hope the local carrefour sells bruggs, I love that stuff.

The weather looks warm but stormy. Those French thunderstorms can download a lot of the wet stuff.

Le Mans can have some serious weather but it's nothing like back home.

Warm rain is so much nicer and gives you a rare chance of a wash

Man can it rain The last two hours and the walk back to karting, boy, I don't think I've ever been as wet...seriously!

Still, fair play Mylo. You said I'd enjoy it and you were bang on the money. I think that's the best 6 day's I've ever had. I'm genuinely emotional that it's all over.

Time to start planing for 2008 and hope Aston Martin enter P1

Actually, that's a tricky one. Unless they change the regs, it's hard to see how a petrol can currently win; if you discount reliability and crashes.

On the other hand, a diesel Aston is just wrong.

Dave did imply something special so how about something really left-field like a gas-turbine; akin to something like the Rover-BRM machine of the mid 60's?

That's probably ludicrous and I'll get flamed but hell, I just can't get my head round a diesel Aston

I quite agree....a diesel Aston just wouldnt seem right.

On the other hand I admire what Audi and Peugeot have done in bringing diesel technology to a race that wouldnt have seemed possible a few yrs ago.

The point about the regs is of course also true, and does favour the diesels, but the ACO has shown previously that they are up to the job of levelling out the playing field.

Whatever Dave Richards does with the Aston, lets hope it's good.....all of his previous efforts have been very well thought out and superbly run by his Prodrive company....good luck to him.

Diesels will probably have their own class in a year or 2 if more manufacturers join in.

Will probably take some shifting in the regulations as they are significantly superior at the mo

Re: Le Mans

Diesel's advantage's will be reduced next season.

The new Aston is likely to be built to the new LMP1 coupe regulations anounced this year.

The new cars are basicaly the same as the Peugeot 908 under the skin, but with a body that looks more like a Mercedes CLR or Nissan R390.

By 2010 both Audi and Peugeot will have to build a car to these regs.

Reading in Autosport today all cars next year will run on a Bio fuel mix with petrol, diesel or ethanol.
