I quite agree....a diesel Aston just wouldnt seem right.
On the other hand I admire what Audi and Peugeot have done in bringing diesel technology to a race that wouldnt have seemed possible a few yrs ago.
The point about the regs is of course also true,and does favour the diesels,but the ACO has shown previously that they are up to the job of levelling out the playing field.
Whatever Dave Richards does with the Aston,lets hope it's good.....all of his previous efforts have been very well thought out and superbly run by his Prodrive company....good luck to him.
