Tt 2007

Just a little heads up for any IOM TT fans, ITV4 has some coverage starting with a preview on Friday at 10pm. There's some highlights on sat/sun starting from 8pm as well.

Chuffed to bits, i was scanning Men & Motors and couldn't find anything.

Also found this full lap onboard footage from 2002 here to get you in the mood . Its just awesome. DJ narrates as well so you get to hear just how crazy you have to be to be a road racer. ".....had a little wobble there...." he says as the bike tried spitting him off at 140mph.

Re: Tt 2007

Cheers for that I was wondering if there was going to be any.

I wondered if the beeb would have it after the northern road race show.

Re: Tt 2007

It's going to be big this year.

Michael Rutter back on the island after all these years .

Plater will be terrifying to watch if the Northwest 200 was anything to go by

Re: Tt 2007

awesome that NW200 coverage wasn't it..!

I'd never actually seen any racing before... reckon I'll be heading over to watch there next year!

This is my fave TT Course video...starts off so nice and then gets so naughty!

(isn't that the one the coppers ride? )

Or..... (OMFG the braking......!!! )

Re: Tt 2007

A quality film on the beemer, shows up those sportsbike riders!

i wouldn't mind sorting a cheapish camera set up for my bike, just to laugh at how slow I look .

He was going some alright. Must have been close to getting those cylinder heads scraping the deck. (They're a flat twin aren't they?)

For a cheap camera, i was thinking about buying one of these for summer http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/atc-2000.htm . Seems ok for £100 all in. It records straight onto SD cards which are pretty cheap these days.
If you have a decent video camera already though, you will get better quality by using it as a recorder in conjunction with one of their "bullet" cams.

Yeah was looking at one of those myself last year, they seem ok for the money but its battery only and I,ve seen mixed results film wise.Firebox did do them for £95(with a voucher).

These people seem to have some reasonably priced stuff but once you start adding extras the price rises quickly.
