See, even Jewell had had enough of Dave Whelan...

Off to Bolton or Citeh? If it was me I'd rather go to Bolton.

Very good! Sammy Lee would like to think two games isn't really long enough to judge him on ...

I can't see Little Sam as a long term option for Bolton and with him begging for Big Sam to turn up yesterday (assuming the reports are true) just underlines that for me. Still the management at Bolton would have seen enough of Little Sam over the last couple of years to know better than I do if he can cut it.

I'd have also thought that with the major surgery that City require taking the easy option with Bolton, a reasonable team and their UEFA Cup place would be a no brainer. Plus you'd get to avoid any moral dilemma that the suggest takeover by the Thai would bring. Not that many Millionaires or Billionaire haven't trodden on people to amass their fortune.

Should think he's realised that Whelan would have chopped him anyway sooner or later. Jumped before being pushed. I hope, for City or Bolton's sake, he doesn't take up the reigns there. His lack of ambition is breathtaking.

You must be joking.

Man City are definately a massive jump above Wigan in terms of potential, support, stadium, etc.

Absolutely. I think that Big Sam going to Newcastle means that City will stick with Pearce. I think Psycho has much more about him than Jewell.

I hope you're right - for City's sake. I can just see the dressing room now, 'eh lads, it's Liverpool t'day, try and keep it down nine willus, cos' dez far too good for the likes of youse'...... prat.

Pearce with fire in his belly, if not so good in the transfer market, or 'cap doffer' Jewell. I wonder which one I'd take?!

No contest really. Stuarts the man...............

Which leaves Jewell..... where, exactly? Feet up or is there another vacancy in the offing?
