Cool new rules.

does anyone feel that a lot of rules nowadays are rubbish?
saw gattuso on free-kicks 4 yards aways when the ball was struck so i thought i would give my view on some rules that should be in place.
just for a bit of fun.

1) 15 yards away on free kicks as most teams move before the balls taken.

2) goalkeepers not allowed to come out of the penalty areas.

3) all free kicks out side the area to be DIRECT, why should u have to pass it when u have been fouled in on goal?

4) free kick requiring a wall should not be taken without the whistle been blown first.

5) yellow cards not counting for any finals (ala scholes etc tonight) if picked up in semis.

6) goalkeepers only under the 6 second rule to kick the ball out of his area once ALL THE OPPOSING PLAYERS are out of the area, then he has 6 seconds to kick it.

7) any diving in the match spotted after the game reported to the league etc and a 2 match ban to be given to the said player, as was done recently to adriano by the italian league for diving against roma.

8) no substitutions to be made after 90 mins is up to stop managers playing for time, even if a genuine injury has occured, they will have to play without the man.

9) any player trying to fool the ref by claiming to be injured should have to stay on the sideline for the same amount of time he was on the floor injured, for e.g. if hes down for 3 mins he stays off the pitch for 3 mins.

anyone have any rules u would like to see?

Re: new rules.

There's only one rule that needs changing ... the one that Jose correctly identified....one penalty rule for manure and another one for the rest of us!

As for the OP, I stopped reading after rule 2. I mean Why stop there? Strap them to the posts and put a piece of food on them for Rooney to pick the scent up of!

I think Drogs is far too easily criticised! .. Has anyone stopped to consider that he may just have a low pain threshold?

i think gerrard hits the deck to much myself and that is usually a sign we have run out of idea`s or time.but to cast him in the same league as DROGBA SWEET BABY JESUS YOU MUST BE MAD.drogba is the only fella i know who can get hit by a bal in the facel and make it look like he`s been twatted by oscar delahoya.its cringe worthy at times to watch him as a none chelsea fan so i would imagine to actually have him in your team and constantly doing it must be terrible.add to that Maureen is off the bench with milli seconds making sure hi slittle flower is ok when its painfully obvious **** all is wrong with him

i think drogba is a hypochondriac and has watched unbreakable,he has contracted what samuel l jackson had and now he fears for his bones at the slightest of touches lol.what was interesting about watching drogba was the first half he was running for balls that went out of play (for either team) if he was near them and then when things got a little worse for the blues he started hitting the deck.
