Wales have got their back line sorted out at last

They will be a different proposition come saturday of that I am sure . If the forwards win enough ball they have enough talent to rip England a new hole

I really hope you are right, but I've witnessed too many thumpings over the last 15 or so years to truely convince me.

Re: Wales have got their back line sorted out at last

i think the key point is if the forwards win enough ball. thats the one thing we havent done against opposition that hasnt been what id call world class. i get the impression that there is either no firm gameplan or that the players are not comfortable with it.

as for the s. jones issue, we know gareth jenkins is stubborn and wont drop his favourite, but on saturday he even came back on after being punched in the face and clearly wasent right, so it shows how much faith he has in hooky. and apparently this injury was in the same game and aggravated in training, so why didnt he delay naming his team till he knew for sure, just bad management

for me the championship was over after the scotland game so why didnt he give hook some good game time at 10 then? hopefully if it doesnt go well for hook on saturday, that wont be the last we see of him at 10, jones has been average to say the least and even concussion doesnt get him dropped.

i bet you can tell im looking forward to the match!!! i am really, im going so i cant wait. i love my trips to cardiff.

I would tewnd tpo agree with you Jenkins has not been good . Alright with Llanelli mind so iuts been somewhat surprising . I would think The Gwent Dragons manager Paul Turner would be better or Derwyn Jones for that matter.I still fancy Wales this saturday playing at home DESPERATE to avoid a whitewash against an England side which has been much changed and full of rookies. As well as they played last time the French never really turned up and were only cruising for most of the game. Only when Mignoni came on did they inject any pace by which time it was too late.Laport dropped sevberal players but I feel he was at fault for not preparing the team well.Anyway I dony expect our lads top win but I do want to see some improvement, the rookies certainly have some talent . With Thomas at 12 - are you sure ?

The English pack will be too strong for the Taffs - England by 20.

No great surprises then. From an English perspective nothing much to get carried with . Pack far too lightwieght, the loss of Worsley was serious as Lund just isnt good enough at this level. Plalmer had a nightmare and the sooner Thomo comes back the better. The loss of Catt was very significant too once again demonstrating the lack of quality at 12.Not many positives then. Wonder what Ashton will say?
As for Wales - well done . Never thought you had a bad team.

Re: Wales have got their back line sorted out at last

nice to see the boys back on form, a well deserved win, though the gap could have been a lot more had Hook got a few more of them kicks and the few opportunities we had to get some more tries.

Hope this momentum continues ready now for the World Cup
