Now I think this is a very bold move particularly as the x league tyro has not had much union game time but hte few he has had he's put in some impressive performances. The guy has all the atttributes reads the game well passes, kicks, tackles gets into contact eras and recycles the ball competently. My only reservation is his lack of pace. He was forward after all.Anyway I remain optimistic that Farrel and englands fortunes are on the up. Now bring the jocks on

As I was reading your praisethis was the first thing I thought of! In saying that, the perfect player is hard to find. He has a great rugby brain so this should compensate, a little like Teddy Sheringham in football.
