Feel sorry for the 'genuine' fans, but, having said that, this isn't the first time Feyenoord have been in trouble over crowd violence, and violence that involved a
large section of their support. Feyenoord vs PSV a few years back, produced what was the worst hooliganism I have
ever seen - and I went to football in the 70's when the hoolies were at it week in, week out. The whole ground was just one huge punch-up.............
The thing is, who do Spurs play now? Feyenoord were the first non girl-scout side they've faced in the comp, so Spurs fans must fancy their chances of going all the way now?
In a way this a blessing in disguise. There is bad blood between Spurs and Feyenoord fans, and last time out, unfairly, the Spurs fans took the lions share of the blame. I dread to think what would have happened had there been a repeat with the way UEFA view English clubs............
