David Beckham has reportedly blasted back at Ramon Calderon for the comments made by the Real Madrid president this week. >>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Following the England midfielder’s move to LA Galaxy last week, Calderon said Beckham "will be an average cinema actor living in Hollywood" and claimed he only moved to America because no other club wanted him.

Calderon was unhappy that Beckham agreed to join LA Galaxy without informing the club first.

Beckham is now quoted as saying: "You told the fans that I had already got a house in Los Angeles.

"That is not true. That's a lie. You have treated me with a lack of respect.

"My team-mates will always have my respect, but you never will now."

It remains to be seen whether Beckham will see out the rest of the season at the Bernabeu where he may get few or no first-team opportunities under coach Fabio Capello.

Good for David, Calderon has acted like a fool and has lost the respect of most of Spain from what I have read.
