Exclamation Messi "Honoured" By Moratti Interest

Messi "Honoured" By Moratti Interest
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ ــــــــــــــــــــــ
Barcelona whiz Lionel Messi said he was honoured by the interest shown by Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti, but insisted he had no intention of leaving the Nou Camp.
ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ ــــــــــــــــــــــ

"I consider it an honour that the president of the Inter, [Massimo] Moratti, is saying certain things about me," he told an Italian radio station.

"I look upon it as a stimulus, to motivate me to do even better, and to continue to fight.

"However, I am doing very well at Barcelona, where everybody loves me a lot. I am very satisfied."

The Inter supremo has admitted his admiration of the Argentine a number of times, and spoken of his desire to make the 19-year-old put on the blue and black shirt. However, he has also admitted that it is "an impossible dream."

However, he did admit that if he ever moved to Italy, he would like it to be either to Juventus or Inter Milan, as those are the Calcio clubs he has supported since he was a child.

Asked to name his favourite player in Italy at the moment, Messi had little hesitation in pointing towards Francesco Totti. "I like him a lot, and he is doing some great things with Roma," said the youngster.

Strong rumurs in the football world that Ronaldinho isn't that happy at Barca at present, and that he may well be AC Milan bound in the summer (with Kaka heading to Madrid !! ).

If this move was to happen then you could see other names leave the Camp Nou, so why not Messi ? Although I think La Liga would suit these two better than Serie A, but money talks.

i don't think roniD will be on fergie's shopping list. he's not english and average, unlike hargreaves and carrick.
and if kaka does go to madrid, it will a great move both for him and real. without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, midfield player in the world, he would do wonders for that club and i believe that he could be the missing link for them.

Yeah I would obviously love to see Kaka at the Bernabeu. Madrid have been chasing him hard for about 18 months now, and they usually get their man in the end!!

It would be a great move for Madrid. He is definitely one of the top players in the world, and will only get better. Plus he is still very young and might just fit into this whole thing that Madrid seem to be starting with players in their late teens and early 20s (Higuain, Gago, Marcelo, Robinho, Ramos, Torres). Hopefully it will be the start of the end for the old guard. Becks, Fat Ron heading and hopefully likes of Carlos, Guti, Raul to join them).

As for whether it would be a good move for Kaka - that will remain to be seen. Madrid are still a club struggling at present. I believe that once the major changes are made they need to get shot of Capello - his style just doesn't fit in with the Madrid ethic and is too stale and old-fashioned. I think they should break the bank for Wenger to be honest. If you are building a young team, he's the man!! Could bring Cesc with him as well.

Every team has its era's. Madrid have been in a slump for 3 or 4 years now. The recovery surely can't be too far away. And I'm really looking forward to it!!
