Wembley gets nod to host NFL game

London will this autumn host the first regular season NFL game to be played outside North America.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/othe...ll/6248825.stm

I MUST!! get tickets for this game. Seriously this is a must go for any NFL fan in the UK. I remember watching the London Monarchs at the old Wembley and White Hart Lane back in the day. Pity its not the Redskins but Miami vs The Giants should be a good game.

I'm Sure Sky will show the game in HD as well.

I remember those days, I live across the road from the Lane so always got the free tickets they gave away to fill the ground up

This should be a whole different world, really looking foward to it. I will have to look into whats happening about tickets.

Re: Wembley gets nod to host NFL game

I WILL be there!!!!

I remember the old exhibition games they used to host pre-season @ Wembley.

Went in the early 90's (Year before the launch of the European League) to see the Saints against the Raiders, easily one of the best days of my life.

Then went the opening year of the European league to see the only game the Monarchs lost

I'm actually planning a trip to Washington in November to see the Redskins play as my birthday treat to myself...I'll be 30 this year & it's always been my dream to see the Redskins play so thought I'd make this one a year to remember

Looks like I'll get to see 2 games this year then
