AVForums Golf Day III - Friday 20th April, Manchester

Right lads, it's 2007 - we had 2 splendid golf days in 2006, thanks everyone for attending; namely Ashworthacca, Abbeygooo, domtheone, Signs (winner of Golf Day II), Me, Vespats, Leej, Deanym, Crocodile JD, HCK (awol winner of Golf Day I)...sorry if I've forgot anyone.

After the last Golf Day III thread fizzled out with little interest from our Southern/Cockerney contingent, what shall we do this time???

The Golf Day is open to every member of AVForums, us stalwarts would love to see many more members as it really is a great day which is more about the banter than the golf.

So, who's interested???? Venue to be decided. Time - sometime in March/April.

How's about here for a venue - my local club, only 2 mins from my house , and only 2 minutes from junction 17 of the M60.

£38 for 27 holes plus the usual soup/sandwiches - dinner in the evening, a Travelodge within 2 minutes, and "Longlegs" (for after dinner entertainment) only a 15 minute taxi journey away in City centre

Ashworthacca did mention his own club for the next one (which i think is in Barnsley) might be quite central for the Scottish contingent

Matt have a word with Phil Hinton, he did mention he might be able to sort some sponsorship for the prizes if we got enough interest.

P.S as a sub prize i could take the last winners name off the trophy and add HCK and the last winner but leave space for future winners

Count me in! Although I do think it's a shame that the golf may well get in the way of all that lap dancing ......
