I'm sorry, but unlike some 'other' fans I don't subscribe to the 'winning is all that matters' ethos. We won three trophies in three seasons, but I would rather have seen some football (period) frankly. Every single time we won anything was forgettable. Even the 94' win, which laid the ghost of 80', was such a poor display I switched off (mentally) for 20 minutes and read a book!
It must be agony for Forest fans, not only the success in those days, but the
way it was achieved, set a benchmark that post Cloughie it's been impossible (thus far) to emulate.
