Dont think so. As per usual loads of hype and not that much of goals. Either 0 - 0 or 1 - 0 to Man U.

When was the last time an away team scored a hat trick at old trafford?

Re: Man Utd v Chelsea

it should definitely be tight, i'm just worried that man utd will do what they did against celtic; control the game without scoring.. we really need rooney and ronaldo to be a little more selfish with the ball than they were against the scots.. i'll go out on a limb and say 2-1 to man utd

1-0 either way. Best result for the rest of us would be a draw. If not, hopefully Chelsea will win. If Utd go six points clear the 'wasters' in the prem will just give them 3 points and a three goal start all the way until May.

Re: Man Utd v Chelsea

heart says 2-1 united.

head says 1-1 or chelsea with a dodgy deflected lampard strike in the 85th minute for 0-1

but if i was putting money on it would be a draw.

Wish i could make my mind up!!!

Hoping for a Chelsea victory just to give Wenger's side the faintest glimmer of hope in an already fading season (league wise). Can't afford Man Utd to stretch their lead any further.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-0

I think it will be tight, but I reckon Man U will nick it, possibly 1-0 or 2-1. If Chelsea score first, then I think they will nick it

Firstly I feel odd - as a Liverpool fan, to be saying this

My heart says Utd, my head says Chelski. Looking at the way I lose at poker neither are much use

2-1 Utd

Re: Man Utd v Chelsea

If United play 442 they could win. if they play rooney wide left again in a 451 they almost certainly won't.

Drogba is doing very well this season but I fancy Vidic to keep him in his pocket (united have not conceded a goal from open play with him on the pitch since last season).

close game, I'd be surprised to see more than 2 goals in total, 1-0 United would do very nicely. we'll see.

Couple of goals and a few assists will do me no harm at all seeing that he is in my fantasy league team

Talking Re: Man Utd v Chelsea

I have a feeling that the game probably will end up a draw. If not I fancy Chelsea to win the game. I don't see Vidic being able to handle Drogba on his current form. I don't believe that their is a defender who can handle Drogba when he is at his most physical.

After watching Man Utd in midweek they had a lot of possesion but did not create many clear chances. I think that Man Utd will struggle with the midfield due their lack of physical presence. Giggs and Ronaldo will be very important to Man Utd as they will have to negate Cole and Geremi/Boulharouz attempts to provide width for Chelsea.

Hopefully it is a good game.

WHAT

Drogba is good at 1 thing only that's laying on the floor making out he's dying.

Man U midfield isn't the problem its the step to the front they don't have proper front men Rooney isn't really a striker they need to buy a proper quality front man.

Chelsea are not that good they are scrapping by this season with there little 1-0 and 2-1.

I am not a Chelsea fan. Their team is only operating at no more than about 70% at the moment. In certain games this season they have been only more or less doing enough to get by.

Man Utd are flying in contrast but they have only had three proper games in my opinion (2 V Celtic, Arsenal). The other games they have played teams have more or less been rotten sides.

I am not a Utd fan either. Drogba & Robben & J. Cole are some of the worst in the league for diving but so are Ronaldo, Giggs, Rooney. Man Utd are just as culpable as Chelsea for it.

I agree Rooney is not an out & out goalscorer.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Mate, I haven't laughed so much since the wife threatened to leave me the 3rd time....

BTW, how was your holiday earlier in the month? You missed a cracking 4 days when we beat Villa and Watford 4-0 & 4-0.

Erm, doesn't fifth in the prem mean Villa are a good team then? I also think Villa are the ONLY team to go to Stamford Bridge and get any sort of point so far this season

We had an off day in the cup match, and lost a few key personnel during the match, including Laursen (our best defender) and our captain Barry.

my only defence with ronaldo is is yeah he dives, but all he does is look at the ref and complain.
He never fakes injury i.e. holding the knee, ankle, head unlike drogba, robben and cole which i can't stand as that is just up holding the game as the physio's have to come then.
