After yet another comeback last week, Johnny Wilkinson is injured again!
He is set to be out for another month after injuring his Kidney in the match against Bristol.

I have really been hoping he would get this run of injuries behind him and get in some shape for next world cup, at this rate I would be suprised if he ever plays for England again!

Incredible that his last kick for England was in that final. I remember at the time the press were all going on about him making a fortune and that he was going to be bigger than Beckham! Perhaps he could have been... who knows? He really did have the world at his feet. It's just such a real shame for the guy and as KevD says, may never play for England again.

While most would say Hodgson is the more talented with ball in hand, he misses far too many kicks, that one in between the posts inside 40 metres against NZ a case in point.

If a fit Johnny Wilkinson, like the one pre 2003, was back in the side I think we would see a different England. But 4 years without pulling on a shirt may just be too long

Poor sod - I do feel sorry for him. He was a class act and way better than Hodgson in all areas. But if he ever came back for England you know those cynical southern hemisphere types would target him!

Anyway, can't wait for the 6 nations in Dublin this year at Croke Park! I'll be there with the green army....waiting for yis!!!
