Talking " Rooney's Dive For The Penalty"

Another classic dive from Rooney to get another penalty. Sort of funny why because he is English this diving does not get mentioned. If it had been Drogba he would have been absolutely slaughtered for it. This action of Rooney in my opinion ended the game as a contest after only five minutes.

Re: " Rooney's Dive For The Penalty"

Nah, it's only been overshadowed by the 2 London derbies is all

P.S. The pen and Harry's decision to play with only 1 up front like most teams at Old Trafford (mine inc) probably also ended the game as a contest

Re: " Rooney's Dive For The Penalty"

This was the same Rooney who recently revealed how much he hates people who dive

Re: " Rooney's Dive For The Penalty"

If it had been Drogba, he would have been rolling from one side of the penalty box to the other. It the theatrics I thiink most people have a problem with.
Rooney "went down" when he felt the defender in his back, I dont believe it was a penalty but I dont consider it a "dive" this happens in most games by players of all nationality's.

Rooneys trailing leg was caught , then he went down (oooer) . Did no one see Harry R go very quiet on sunday morning whwn it was pointed out to him by Chris Kamara ?

Rooney was definitely caught so no question of it being a dive.
