Baldomir v Mayweather. Who's watching tonight?
Not sure about you lot but I've been looking forward to this one for ages. To make matters worst I got my dates mixed up and was sat on the couch with beers & munchies at the ready last saturday
Anyway, 10pm our time so should be 1am there in the UK. Gonna be a good fight me thinks! Maybe even a surpirse win for Argentine Baldomir
Roll on tonight, can't wait!

Looking forward to this, just hope i can stay awake.
It would be a massive surprise if Baldomir won he's not a big puncher at all ,so can see Pretty Boy winning this quite easily.Best pound for pound boxer in the world for me.

I'm not so sure though, I think he punches harder than he appears to. Surpirsed me watching him take Gatti apart as it didn't look like he'd hit him with much in the way of big punches.
Would love to see a Mayweather v Hatton fight, now that would be a classic!

Agree 100%,think RH needs to lose a few pounds first as when i see him on soccer am he looked a right bloater and that was next to Neil Ruddock.
Does Baldomir remind you of a young Duran?

He does a bit, he was my favourite boxer to use in FN3
I also expect Mayweather to win tonight but you never know, I love surprises! Baldomir's a good solid boxer so I think it should be a good few rounds either way. Don't think either boxer will go down easily, I hate quick fights.

No! There will only ever be one 'Hands of Stone', Baldomir is 35 and Duran was a monster when he was younger.
Baldo's done well, 2 good wins over Judah & Gatti. But Mayweather is a different class and Mayweather will beat Hatton easily, he's that good.

Indeed, Mayweather is a fantastic boxer, no doubts about that, I just don't feel he's unbeatable. Anyway, he will most likely win tonight but if he does he's gonna have some much tougher challenges to face next year for certain.
Should be starting in a minute so I'm off for some beer & boxing now
Come on Baldo!

It is always worth remembering that SKY usually repeat the show on Sunday at about 11 in the morning and 8 at night, which is when I usually watch it unless I have a load of mates round to watch it Saturday night cos I guarantee I will fall asleep just before the main event
The main event was a bit of a snoozefest IMO,theres no disputing Mayweather is very talented but he is about as exciting to watch as Junior Witter If he knows his opponent is useless and cant hurt him he may stand and fight but if he thinks his opponent is half decent and can actually fight back he will spend the whole 12 rounds running away and counter punching.....very negative and booooring. The post fight interview with Floyd was hilarious though,go on Larry!
I wouldnt be surprised if a Hatton vs Mayweather fight would play out very similar to Saturdays fight, although Hatton has a lot better movement than Baldimir so would have a lot more success at trapping Floyd in the corner or against the ropes.
edit:Just read that in a post fight press conference Floyd announced he is going to retire after 1 more fight.I doubt he will TBH,probably just a tantrum after Larry wound him up.

I thought the same, very neagtive performance in the ring, I really hate tactical boxing & it seemed Baldomir was the only one that really wanted to fight IMO. Pretty Boy spent the most part leaning forward as far as he could ready to duck back out the way of Baldo's punches
Didn't really see anything memorable from Mayweather in the way of punches, although obviously it's points that count. Hahaha, I did enjoy Larrys comments & Mayweathers responses though, "you say it's all about performance, do you feel you...." "you know nothing about boxing, nothing, stick to commentating & leave the boxing to me!!!"

Looks like it's all up to the Golden Boy to spoil Mayweathers unbeaten record now, now that's gonna be one to watch!
