Can only be good news, I wasn't convinced by his fleeting World Cup appearances but they were fleeting & his club scoring record is second to none. How did he play last night anyone?

See Chelsea, you need more than 2 strikers.

I hope he's been misquoted in the papers.

Because if he hasn't, it will take a a fair few goals to win over the Anfield faithful - including me.

I wouldn't read too much into that, player keen on a move to England, journo asks him about a certain club, he's bound to praise that club above others. If he's disloyal whilst owed by Liverpool it's a different story but the comments he made last night suggest there was only one team he wanted to join & he probably feared in the past that dream wouldn't happen.

Yes, I'd agree with that.

The Dutch player though, they're not the best to have in the dressing room.

Eventually, something always goes wrong.

Whats that suppose to mean?

I've seen a lot of Kuyt as i was rumoured he was coming to spurs last season and don't think he'll be a big hit in the pre let alone get a start at Anfield.

I'll try and find the link of him telling everyone how great it will be to be a Tottenham player and how Davids has got him to sign for Spurs, this was quite widely reported.
Just wish someone had told MJ.

There's no doubt that Dutch players have more problems than most.

Looks like his official site seems to think that it's a done deal -

You mean "mental" Marco Boogers? Superstar footballer living in.... a caravan.

Nearly broke Gary Neville's leg in one of his first appearances too, think he'd only been on the pitch about 10 minutes! This was not one of 'Arry's best buys, that's for sure

Dirk will be no problem.

Rafa will get Craig Bellamy to give him an Attitude Readjustment lesson if he gets out of hand......

Ah mate, if a tackle could ever be hilarious then it would have been Boogers tackle (a psychiatrist could have deemed him having a screw loose just having watched the footage).

The pitch was slightly damp and he must have slid for about 10-15 feet or so with his right foot at knee height... I don't think he cared where the ball was.

Needless to say Julian Dicks still squared up against Roy Keane to defend him
