Thanks: Gave 330, Got 215 | Leeds Fans....will Blackwell be sacked soon
as much as i like the man it just seems to me that he cant take the team that final step, sometimes he just looks like an assistant manager and his interviews seem like he knows his time is coming to and end, especially with bates as chairman,he must want his own manager

Biggest escape act Sheff Weds have performed in years was getting away from Ken Bates! As for Blackwell, it does make you wonder why he's not gone yet, I would have thought he'd have been on the way after the Play-Off final last season. Maybe Ken is feeling sorry for him.

Could be a crucial week for Blackwell.
Potential banana skin against Chester in the Cup tomorrow night, and
then Sheff Wed away live on SKY on Sunday, and we never do well in
local derbies.....
Personally, I believe his days are numbered. Can't keep trotting out the "we were unlucky" excuse every time we lose, and his dealings in the transfer market have been questionable.
Having said that, Hoddle was mentionned as possible successor in one of the sunday papers
Ian.
