Daily Mirror.

should be a good signing for the Toon if he stays fit as he is some talent.

He is injury prone and we all know Newcastles injury problems with their "stars"...

I like Duff.

Does anyone remember that 'kick in the teeth' comment?

Worth 10m in my eyes - if fit.

Still, Roeder is crap and Newcastle will struggle under him.

Spurs only offered 7m,would of thought Newcastle needed defenders and CF more then a winger.Good buy anyway.

I bet he plays upfront for Newcastle until Owen's back, like he sort of does for Ireland.

I know football.

I'll dig this post up when the crisis talks begin sometime this season.

You know it's going to happen - let me add a predicted quote from the fans:

"we never wanted him, we needed a big name, he was not the right man for the job"

- despite everyone creaming over him now.

the toon going to have a grand unveling at St James' Park for him.

Not sure whats going to happen with Newcastles defence next season, not heard them being linked with anyone solid for that role yet this summer.

Is it going to be like the Owen unveiling, with Sky there hyping it up beyond belief 'live' on Sky sports News and tens of thousands of fans packing one side of the ground for their 'hero', who then misses most of the season!!

Will be the right move for Duff if he wants a regular place.

But he's better than Newcastle.

Liverpool don't need him but if we sign him, you can have Kewell. I'd much rather Duff.

Signed him but do we really need him? We need to strikers to fill the gap left by Shearer and the injured Owen(who i can't see playing again). Duff can play upfromt though so its not all bad.
