Thanks: Gave 494, Got 488 | Doncaster Rovers fans...you stink!
Yes that's right! You stink! To stand there and slow hand clap a player who was badly injured, and who you could see was badly injured due to the amount of blood, is a disgrace and almost caused real problems with the Hull fans. Should be ashamed of yourselves...
(I know there won't be many people who support Doncaster Rovers here but nevertheless it needs to be said).

"A collision between Damien Delaney and goalkeeper Boaz Myhill left the centre-back on the floor. Delaney was unmoved on the Doncaster pitch for five to ten minutes as physio`s and paramedics urgently tried to assist the City player. Eventually, Delaney was removed on a stretcher before being immediately taken to hospital."
To be honest for a second we thought it was a LOT more serious as he was out cold. According to the reports this morning he broke his nose. But there was so much blood he stopped breathing on the pitch and they needed to give him oxygen, I think they were also a bit worried he had broken his jaw, thankfully not as serious as it looked but there was a fair bit of blood and he looked like he was convulsing at one point.
Anyone could see that Damien was in a bad way which is why the Hull fans went ballistic at the hand claps! The Doncaster announcer even had to speak over the tannoy to berate his own fans!

Not trying to justify what they did, but isn't this sort of behaviour a by-product of players cheating? We all saw it in the WC and so did the players, so is it any wonder fans are sceptical? Again, I'm not trying to defend their behaviour, but it does make you wonder.

Blood is normally a sign that the player isn't faking it!!

well i'm from donney and dont support them to be honest my team is arsenal. I went the 1st time to the ground to watch Arsenal last season i could not belive the racist chants that came from the donney fans because we had alot of black players playing it was not mentioned on tv or the papers strange. Because they bring it up in spain when ever it happens.

Granted the 2nd minute of the match is a bit early to cheat and blood/team mates collisions are usually a give away, so I was probably wrong in this case. Put it down to the South Yorkshire mentality
Watch me get lambasted by South Yorkshire folk and/or there football fans for that now!

Damien Delaney - if he's not Irish, I'll eat my pot of gold.
