German MotoGP

Oh my God! Did you watch it?

Mr Grumpy was on pole with a lap record.

Mr Invincible was 11th (a very poor 11th).

And he still won....Could you ever imagine having that much talent?

Third place man had black marks on his overalls after contact with his team mate.

The last few laps were breath taking.

First four separated by 3/10ths.

Wow!

Mr Moderator: You appear to have changed the title to 'French Grand Prix'.

This post has nothing to do with Cars or F1. Please change it to MotoGP.

Wow!
Totally agree.

I was never into motorbikes or racing until I checked out one of the early GP races this season and have been hooked ever since.

Even my 5 year old lad thinks Nicky Hayden is a god!?

Looking forward to this saturdays GP in America.

COME ON ROSSI!!!!

Yet another demonstration of Rossi's talent and will to win on a bike that clearly wasnt the best in the field.

The last few laps were simply amazing, and Hayden's efforts to beat Pedrosa were superb....tough but clean.

Got to agree with the assesment of Pedrosa above....he really does seem pretty grumpy for a guy who will surely be champion soon(at least when Rossi retires).
When you look at Hayden and Melandri after a race, and see how much they seem to have enjoyed a good hard race,Pedrosa just looks like someone's broken his toys.

Damit That's another Moto GP I forgot to tape.

Didn't think it was on this week so I taped the F1 instead.

3 hour programme which I managed to watch in 20 minutes

If you have Eurosport (by far the best commentary) it is repeated quite a lot throughout the week. It's well worth looking out for. It left me breathless.

Don't forget the USA GP (MotoGP) this weekend. Live coverage on Eurosport from around 10pm from Friday.

Eurosport has by far the best commentary team. I watched the race on BBC and it kindof left a bit of an empty feeling towards the end knowing that the Toby, Julian and Randy would be going mad with excitement over on Eurosport.

Indeed, the Eurosport commentary is so much better than the BBC,it makes a great sport even better, however, I'm not to keen on the WSB commentary...

absolutley superb - great racing - top entertainment and great sportsmanship all the way - notice how all the guys at the end of the race said - "man that was fun"

Great stuff and can;t wait for USA this weekend.

Isnt that just the truth...they all actually enjoyed it(perhaps with the exception of the talented but rather pouty Mr Pedrosa!),as well as entertaining the viewers.

I used to be a real dyed-in-the-wool F1 fan,but this, and Champcars(and I would imagine Nascar now that Montoya seems on his way there)provide the only real racing out there currently.

i like the boy but he is no god, 2 race win`s in how long??????

the 1st win he had was his home race (and no 1 wants to be known for only winning your home race) and the 2nd win come when rossi, marco and a few other were really in a bad way.

The only racing god in Moto GP is Dr Rossi himself The German GP was a fantastic display by them all but there was only ever going to be one winner.

Hayden will be very big, just not yet. Lets see if he can repeat the victory at Laguna Seca. The massive rear brake he uses enables awesome slides and very late braking.
Little Pedrosa is a fantastic talent and does well to control the monster bike he is sat on, he doesn't have the weight to muscle a bike like some of the others.
