So with the news that Ruud is off who do we think is going to be signed as his replacement. There are rumours that he may just keep it as it is up front with Ole, Loiuis, Rooney and Rossi ... Personally speaking I think we need at least one more midfielder (2 if Ronaldo leaves) and a striker ...

So which striker should we get ?

Huntelaar at ajax scored 41 goals I believe so could be a possible target.

After a 10 day absence due to a dodgy NTL modem , I'm back .
With Ruud @ Real , there is no chance of CR going there . Play him up front (his prefered position) with Rooney . Park on one wing , Giggs on the other .
Scoles back in AM with Carrick holding . Maybe even a cheapish Gattuso from Italy . No Fletcher or OShea in midfield

I gather Ronaldo will stay, but can't help but feel he can't handle constant booing, contrary to his claims as to otherwise. I mean every time he's on the telly, his make up runs through the tears!

Gonna need another striker, holding midifelder and a winger, two if CR goes. I love Giggs, Park, Saha, etc but they're just not good enough now / yet to challenge for top honours.

Well it's stronger than last year at the moment, with Heinze, Solskjaer and Scholes back to fitness, so they'll be there or thereabouts this year, but they do need some new talent and replacements for CR and Ruud if they do leave.
