England vs T&T predictions

Now, before we start, this is a light hearted prediction!

Possibly four scenarios here.

1) England go out to score early as Svens teams do, get the early goal, T&T's containment plan goes belly up, they lose their shape, and England slap in four. My personal favourite scenario here.

2) England fail to score early on, T&T rally and dig their heels in, but England finally break them down and score, possibly then grabbing a second. This I will dub the 'Casfan scenario'.

3) England score early on, then Sven reverts to type, the team searches sporadicaly for a second, then defends deep in the 2nd half. Finally winning 1-0.

4) England fail to score early on, get frustrated as T&T throw in some hefty challenges, Sven panics and throws on some daft substitutions, T&T get increasingly confident, then horror of horrors farbehind throws one of his howlers and they score. T&T hang on to win 1-0 and I'm sitting there with my head in my hands with that 'World crashing in feeling'. This is the 'NI scenario'. Hopefully not this one!

Come on England!

I think we'll win it, maybe 2-0 with a dodgy penalty decision thrown in for good measure!

Come on, we never make it easy for ourselves!

I think it's about time England did a Spain

No, not under achieve 3-0 England. I got a good feeling about today

I regard 0-0 vs Sweden to be their 3rd round FA Cup result (no offence meant). Hopefully what they say about form is temporary, class is permanent will come true

I actually feel pretty confident today and i think your scenario 1 may just hit the nail on the head *fingers crossed* -- although T&T may nick a consolation goal.

Prediction: 4-1 COME ON!!

2-0 England, an early one and a late one.

England continue to build/improve slowly.

Don't really wanna slap in 5 - the media will get hysterical with the hype and we could do without that.

Our media? Get hysterical?! Never!

I think it'll be down to T&T's response to pressure really. If they do lose an early goal, confidence may well ebb away and England run riot. Any professional would go for the jugular if that happens. As Spain did yesterday.

I think it'll be tight again - one in each half though, but it won't be easy.

2-0 - Crouch and I fancy Joey Cole for a goal today...

I feel very confident as well for this one, what with all the negativity on Svens tactics in the last game I think they will go forward and keep pushing.

3-0 England

2-0, both goals early in the second half just to reasure everyone we can score after the break. Joe Cole & Crouch

If the whole heat factor was a biiger problem as Sven suggests, it'll be interesting to see how we play in the 2nd half when the temperature would've dropped a little from the first 45.

Crouch and Gerrard to get a couple each to give my Fantasy Football team a boost!
And Chris Burchill to be trying too hard, mistime quite a few tackles and pickup a couple of yellow cards to ruin his World Cup dream......

zzzzzzzzzzzz , dull as usual, losing possesion too easily, strikers don't look a threat at all, and people were saying we could win it, don't make me laugh!

Where's the high tempo?! They're playing so slow, my grandma and her friends could defend against England!

The defence are too deep for free kicks, the strikers should be higher, and Crouch shoulda controlled then scored

And yes, I've seen paint drying shows more interesting than this
