trinibad and Tobago

Oh my god!! trinibad and tobago just held of sweden 0-0, even though they only had 10 men, fantastic.

Shaka Hislop made some fantastic saves. What a great game, they really refused to get beat. Looks like were going to have to play better than we did today to beat them.

I thought that this was a good result for us. T&T will stll try and play football against us instead of maybe shutting up shop if they had lost today.

Chris Birchill will be sent off as well as he'll be trying far to hard against his real country

Watching Sven? They go down to 10, they bring a striker on. As opposed to being 1-0 up, 11 men, and bringing on a midfielder for a striker...

They played a great game...I just hope they won't be exhausted on thursday, so they can do themselves justice

Bit worrying that two of the European qualifiers have struggled against "lesser" opposition.
Is there a danger that FIFA will reorganise the number of slots per region for 2010 given the poor showing of one of the regions?!?
If so then Scotland are doomed for evermore!
Especially if we get more draws like Euro 2008 ;-{

T&T are no threat to the group. Sweden did not do their homework, did nothing to stop T&T from playing their chosen game and consequently paid the price. They have been stung and will react with typical scandinavian grit.

Not sure if you have any reason to wish Chris ill will.

He obviously can't forgive Chris for choosing T+T?...In a way you could blame him for Hargreaves's inclusion...

Great result for England as a win against T&T will put us through ...... we can give Rooney a run out then with no pressure, who needs three qualifying games?

annoying thing is I had Shaka Hislop as my goalie in my fantasy team, and took him out, just started watching the Argentina game and noticed that Saviola has scored who I took out at the same time, doh!

I don't think they will cause too many problems on Thursady. This was their first ever WC game and would have been so pumped up for it. Sweden haven't won since qualifying so they aren't the most confient side at the moment. It's what makes the WC essential viewing for proper footy fans

Poland struggling against Costa Rica and Sweden failing to break down Trinidad & Tobago (who did have a five week training camp before the competition so no wonder they were well organised)
