Thanks: Gave 1,013, Got 1,272 | Jenson Button - What a disappointment!!
What the was Button doing in the first round of quali????
Sitting in his garage watching the times and didn't go out. You could plainly see on the live timings that both Coulthard and Heidfeld were going to set faster laps.....why did he not go out?? Yes, he got called in to the weigh bridge, but he was sitting in the car, in his garage, with at least 3 minutes to go - plenty of time to get out there and put in a faster one. To do this on your home grand prix...you and your team are a disgrace.
Oh, and he is in my Fantasy F1 team...thanks.
Update - James Allen has just confirmed that he was in the car and in the garage with 3 1/2 mins to go - he had time to get out there...plank.

Just hope he isn't the only British disappointment today

I can't understand what's up at Honda myself
After last season, there were high hopes - maybe not to win it (Alonso is still the man), but to challenge. But Honda have been off the pace, and inspite of all these people related to F1 sticking up for him in the media, is he really motivated?

I was thinking exactly the same.
He seems to have no hunger and is quite happy picking up a huge paycheck and going to too many celebrity parties. Yes he is a talent but he seems to have lost the desire to win - let's hope he proves me wrong tomorrow...somehow I cannot see it and predict another mediocre 8th or 9th place.

imo, not gonna happen. I've seen the likes of Raikkonnen (spelling?), Alonso and that cheating german git start mid grid and move past 7-10 drivers to finish in the points. Jenson has been one of the drivers this season that they pass. Somehow doubt it'll change tomorrow
The car's not got the speed to boot, although Barricello (spelling?) looks faster than Jenson
And is he really as good as Alonso, cheating german, or the Finn (spelling)? Look at Coulthard. imo better than Jenson, yet made to play second fiddle to others for too long, then given a McClaren that kept breaking down. His chance has surely gone...dare I say it, Jenson's has as well?
