Thanks: Gave 9, Got 1 | Are Sky showing World Cup!
Just deciding whether to change from Sky Sports to Movies over the summer but just want to confirm that the Beeb and ITV are showing all the games?
Anyone know?
cheers

According to my newspaper pull out guide, and this, yes. You'd have to wait for the draw for later stages, and how England do, for how the knock out games will be split by the BBC and ITV
Edit: Presumably when 2 games are on at the same time, e.g. on 21/06, the channel would pick the better games to show. Argentina vs Holland...should be tasty

Just to confirm for you SKY have never had the World Cup and this WC will be no different.
ITV and the BBC is the only place on regular British TV.
When there's two games on (final group games), I don't understand why they don't just share the coverage (ie one match on each channel - get it sorted ITV and BBC). However, now that ITV and the Beeb have other channels and interactive facilities (including the web for the BBC), then hopefully we can choose ourselves instead of missing out on something that you might want to watch.

2006 FIFA World Cup Germany (Sport)
England V Paraguay - Live Andy Goldstein hosts all the unique build-up and live action from Frankfurt in the match that England fans have been nervously anticipating. Paraguay provide a stern test but midfield lynchpins including Steven Gerrard will aim to get forward and cause problems, relying on a hopefully solid defence. The BBC website shows what games are on BBC or ITV. I'm pretty sure that all of the BBC's games will also be on UKTV G2.
