TT Racing

Has anyone else been watching the TT on Men And Motors ?
Some great footage from the onboard cameras, I'm frightened just watching it

dont have men and motors. Thik its on bbc this week (in NI anyway)

Fantastic racing. North west is the big road race in NI and its fantastic ive been to it the last 6 years.
200mph a foot away from lampposts madness! but great!

The other day the commentator said
"It's just about 2 minutes since the first riders went off and they are already 7 miles up the road"

Is that you Dennis?
You are aware you're only meant to get your knee down, not your elbows and arse

yus

yup thats me in 1972 first lap of practice at quarter bridge, the rear tyre was old and hard and didnt grip too well, lucky for me it happened there and not at the next bend as i was only doing around 50mph and the next one was 80!mph.
i remember the front brake lever was a bit loose so a kind st johns man wrapped sticky plaster around it !so i could complete the lap, wich i did as i needed it to qualify.

happy days.

Mine as well, been on track days and they are invariably safer than taking the bike out on the public highways
