Cheating german git

Ok so who thinks Schumacher parked it . I mean honestly are we supposed to believe that a 7 times world champion can't drive around a corner!!... and he wasn't even on a hot lap either.

I was going to post the same thing, with his past record of cheating I would say that he knew he wasn't going to post a fast time so deliberately did it to spoil the times of the other drivers

Because of this, everyone is going to assume the worse. Perhaps qutie rightly.

I was so annoyed when I saw what he had done that I turned off in disgust. Did the pundits say anything about it ?

Brundle said that he wasn't convincing in the Press conference . He did seem very unsure of himself . Briatore called it as he saw it , he was royally ****** off . Bet they don't have the balls to penalise Shumacher though , looking at the Beeb , looks like the result stands

Damn you Schumacher.

What did you go and do that for? Did you not realise that telemetry and video evidence would catch you out?

I have supported you for the last 15 years. I have stuck up for your on-track behaviour many a time. [It a motor race,. not a picnic. Wimps lose and all that] but this time I feel you have destroyed your reputation. It was an inexcuseable act.

Prat.

Deep breath mate

The guy had a lapse of judgement and made a split second decision just as he did when he crashed into Damon Hill in 94 at Adelaide taking both him and Hill out but becoming world champ for the first time and doing the exact same thing to Jacques Villeneuve's in the Williams Renault at Jerez, however as Schumacher sat in the gravel trap, JV managed to finish 3rd and secured the the world championship.

A point to remember:

Schumacher was disqualified from the World Championship final classification that year, but his results and points were nevertheless kept in the official records by the FIA

I think he was hard done by to be put at the back of the grid; he had already qualified in the top 10 after the 2nd session, so it would have been fairer to bump him to 10th on the grid. I know I'm alone in this, but I don't think it was a deliberate attempt to sabotage the session. The video shows him locking the fronts going into Rascasse and steering left to correct the slide. He didn't have enough steering lock to avoid the barrier so he stopped then couldn't get reverse gear to engage. Anyway, he did well to finish 5th.
