Thanks: Gave 68, Got 170 | England v Sri Lanka - 2nd Test - Edgbaston
Come on England.
Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to bat first. Lets hope Hoggy has another new ball moment.

I've just done the same DT. Going home at 12:30. Will have to pop in for a couple of hours tomorrow, but hopefully before play kicks off. Let's hope the weather behaves itself.

Well - bit of a stubborn partnership on the 9th, but I'll take 141 all out any day. Let's hope that the pitch is nice to our batsmen, and that they can go for a really high total. I think with the weather as it is, we've got to aim for defeat by an innings.

Did anyone else notice David Gower say "those of you lucky enough to have a brand new spanking High Definition box" ? slight wrong order of words there David I think
Whilst on the subject of Gower, the way he says "gone" is definately getting worse now, there are even more letter a's in it the way he says "he's gaaaaan".
Yes I'm in a picky mood

Yeesh! Bit of a shocking tail end! Still, credit to Pietersen for a cracking innings - scoring on his own more than Sri Lanka could manage between them. Now let's hope Liam's on the kind of form he was in yesterday.
