What The Sun printed was **** , they have appologised and have had almost 0 sales on Mersey side ever since , quite rightly so .
However , last May a Liverpool fan dropped a paving slab on a guys head , and has left another supporter take the rap for it . Sure , the real culprit has admitted he did it , but he is not about to go back to face the music .
IMHO I don't think a Liverpool supporter should be so quick to take the moral highground , over a fantasy league .
I only type this , as its not the first time you have complained about "us" following The Sun's dream team

How long did it take them to apologise? ...and why did they do it?

They did because that Manc Rooney signed a deal with them and they wanted to increase circulation amongst Evertonians on Merseyside...the apology was in no way sincere and nicely coincided with the Rooney deal.

We can forgive, but must never forget. It was 16 years ago though...personally I don't like to stay hateful (even if Hillsborough never personally affected me), it makes me a hateful person, and that's not me
